A Message from the Headteacher: My name is Sally Birks and I am
the Head Teacher of St Bartholomew’s CE Primary School in West Pinchbeck. We currently have 81 children on
role and small class sizes which vary from 15-25. Each class is supported
during a large part of the day by an experienced teaching assistant. We are a fully inclusive school
and our aim is to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of the
children during their time with us. We provide our children with excellent
teaching, hands on experience and a range of enriching experiences, from our
after school clubs, to visits to new places. Our aim is to help our children
become resourceful independent learners who are able to move to the next
phase of their school career with confidence and self-belief. We have high expectations of our
children both in terms of self-discipline and of achievement. We believe in
working together with the children to identify and fully develop their areas
of strength whilst supporting other areas they need to develop. We want to work closely with our
parents, as a partnership and hope that they will choose to become involved
in different aspects of school life from helping their children with homework
to joining our PTFA. I hope you will take the time to come and see for yourself
the good work we do here in helping all children achieve their full
potential. |
