Welcome! We warmly welcome you to the three churches of The Glen Group and pray
that your visit with us will be richly blessed. A children’s corner has been set-aside in each of
our churches for children to sit and play. At Communion Services, please
bring the children forward for a blessing and a sticker. We invite all who
are confirmed or full members of any Christian church to share in Communion.
Alternatively, if you wish to receive a blessing please bring your service
sheet with you when you come to the altar. |

Reflection on today’s readings Do we still have our daily quiet moments
with God where we pray without saying a word? We connect with God, we listen
to Him and He speaks to us through the silence – His still, small voice of
calm. Some of us are so busy that we don’t have these precious one to one
moments with God anymore – too busy, too much to do! Yet we create time for
our friends, we create time for our hobbies and vices. If we want to know God
deeply then it is a must that we regularly spend quiet time with Him in pray.
Towards the end of our gospel reading for today we are reminded about the
importance Jesus placed on finding a ‘desert place’ – space and time for just
himself and God. God and you alone, one to one in silence. |
