WORSHIP with us at st mary's
Sunday Worship
In the Liturgy of the Eucharist we declare that we `join with angels and archangels' to sing God's praise.
This fragment of stained glass depicts an angel swinging a censer - see if you can spot it when you're next in church!

Covid 19 Precautions
Sadly we are unable at the moment to sing in Church though music is used in other ways. A pre-recorded Video service with `sing along' hymns is also posted every Sunday and can be found here.
All our church services are short; typically 45 minutes. While in Church attendees are asked to:
- maintain social distancing at all times
- practice good hand hygiene on entry and exit
- leave `test and trace' information on arrival
- wear a face covering at all times unless exempt
- follow the one way system when moving around the church
- avoid crossing the white floor tapes into closed areas
- use only the designated pews, as stewards direct.
Our pews have been organized to ensure that you can sit with your immediate `bubble' in an area that will have been cleaned and properly prepared to keep you as safe as possible.
At the Eucharist only the bread, and not the wine, will be shared - a minister will come to you. Please signal by holding up your service sheet if you would prefer just to receive a blessing.
Funding Ministry in a time of national crisis
At this time many charities are struggling financially and churches are no exception. To maintain our ministry in these challenging times we are needing to rely increasingly on the generosity of those we serve.
To make a donation of loose cash or coin please look out for the `gift jar' near the church exit. Taxpayers using the yellow gift-aid envelopes can multiply the effectiveness of donations at no extra personal cost, and this is greatly appreciated.
