Identity Checks

Floral Arrangement: Photo J KebbellAs part of the legal process for arranging your marriage, when you first meet with the Vicar he will wish to verify your identity - he will be looking particularly for proof of nationality and recent evidence of the use of your name.

You will need to bring original `in date' documentation containing your photograph, signature and current address. This may require a combination of documents such as a passport and driving licence.

If in doubt please check with the Vicar or parish administrator before you meet, as it will not be possible to book your wedding until the identity check is complete.

The Vicar will copy and return your documentation during the meeting.
